Entering yesterday’s match against Tunisia, Team USA were obviously overwhelming favoritesâ€"54 point favorites to be preciseâ€"and although they only won by 47, they still put a shellacking on their opponents from Tunisia.  Nobody in their right mind thought Tunisia would be competitive, let alone win…not even the Tunisian team themselves.

Following the contest one member of the Tunisian team thought he’d ask one of Team USA’s biggest stars, Kobe Bryant, for an autograph on his shoe, to which the Black Mamba willingly obliged.  Mohamed Hdidane must have figured that this would be his only chance to get Kobe’s autograph, which is probably a correct assumption, so he yanked off one of his sneakers and presented it to the NBA star.  Props to Bryant for fulfilling Hdidane’s request, which shows Kobe is all about the Olympic spirit (and partying shirtless with anonymous girls).

Here’s video of the encounter, via Business Insider…

Over/under on when the shoe shows up on eBay is set at 5 days. Take the under.
