Remember the Masked Mamba? That was Kobe Bryant just a few months ago after an inadvertent elbow from Dwayne Wade during the 2012 All-Star Game in Orlando. After the injury, team doctors discovered that Wade had actually broken Kobe's nose. In order to prevent more damage, the doctors forced him to wear a plastic mask. After some time, he felt a lot better, and the team physicians permitted him to "ditch" the mask. After that, the entire storyline died down.
However, recently the mask reappeared in the news. Kobe has decided to sell the mask, and it has created a buzz among NBA fans everywhere. He has decided to put the "Masked Mamba" behind him for good. He is selling the mask on eBay and plans on donating all the profits to the Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation. He created this foundation alongside his wife in 2011; Bryant is using this foundation to help out the homeless, mainly kids under the age of 24.
As of now, the bid is at $21,340. More than three days still remain in this auction. How much do you think Kobe's mask is worth?
