Kobe Bryant Led Lakers Dominate Denver, TDE Leading Shady 2.0 In Hip-Hop Playoffs - MTV.com (blog)

NBA champion Kobe Bryant began his quest for a sixth ring getting off to a great start with his consecutive Sunday win in the past week. Playing without a suspended Metta World Peace, the LA Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets 103-88 cruising to a victory. Kobe finished game one of the series with 31 points.

In the MTV News Hip-Hop Playoffs the #6 seed TDE is running away with the first round against powerhouse Shady 2.0. Shady reloaded their roster last year with the signing of rap group Slaughterhouse and Alabama MC Yelawolf but the presence of TDE featuring all-star Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and rookie sensation Schoolboy Q is giving the house that Eminem built a run for their money.

The squad here at RapFix are looking forward to watching Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and the rest of the biggest stars lead their respective teams to victory. It’s the same way we look forward to rap’s biggest stars lead their teams to hip-hop dominance. So while the NBA sets forth to determine who the best ball team of the year is, RapFix is on a mission to find out who the best team in rap in our MTV News Hip-Hop Playoffs!
