According to Janis Carr of the OC Register, the possibility of Kobe Bryant returning any time soon is up in the air and that after a conversation with team spokesman, John Black, Carr thinks that “it is possible that Bryant will sit out the Lakers’ final six games and return for the playoffs.â€
With the way the Lakers have been coming together as a team and building their confidence with their superstar waiting in the wings, this might be the blessing in disguise the Lakers need to make a real hard push in the playoffs.
No one can argue that this Lakers team is not a serious title contender when Andrew Bynum & Pau Gasol are playing at their best and if the Lakers bench can play like it has been playing to go along with a healthy Kobe Bryant.
