Vanessa Laine Bryant, Kobe Bryant‘s wife, has now three mansions worth $18.8 million as part of the separation of assets between her and the NBA superstar, although their divorce papers are not yet final.

According to Los Angeles Times on Saturday, January 21, 2012, Orange County property records revealed that the estranged couple is now starting to divide their marital properties.
As noted in the report, the Orange County Clerk-Recorders Office in Santa Ana showed that the three mansions in Newport Beach, California, which were valued at $18.8 million, have been transferred to Vanessa Bryant‘s name.
Back in December last year, Vanessa Bryant cited “irreconcilable differences†when she filed for divorce from Kobe Bryant, and asked for a joint custody of their 2 daughters, Natalia, 8, and Gianna, 5.
Vanessa is also asking for a spousal support, which Kobe agreed, with reports saying that the two had no pre-nuptial agreement which means she is entitled to half of Kobe Bryant‘s wealth since they got married.
Kobe Bryant reportedly met then 17-year old Vanessa Laine in 1999 and they got married on April 18, 2001 at St. Edward Roman Catholic Church in California, with Kobe‘s parents strongly opposing their marriage.
Apparently, some reports said that Kobe Bryant‘s net worth is $150 million, which will mean that Vanessa is being expected to have $75 million excluding the ongoing spousal and child support.
